Flip Flat Light Panel Dew Solution

Are you tired of dew dripping off your light panel as it closes in the morning?

I've partnered with ASTROZAP to bring you a dew control solution that was purpose built for the OPTEC Alnitak Flip Flat.  Printed from PET-CF and powered by ASTROZAP, the Overcast Observatory Flip Flat Light Panel Dew Solution will keep your light panel dew free all night long for a dry closure in the morning when you are ready to take your flat frames.

This dew heater is compatible with your favorite RCA plug 12v Dew Controller, including Pegasus Power Boxes.  Also included is an adapter for compatibility with ZWO ASIAIR.

Instructions for mounting:

-This dew heater mounts onto the back of the panel using the bolt pattern for the current lamp diffuser screws.  Simply replace three of the stock nylon screws with longer screws (included) so that the screws protrude beyond the back of the lamp housing. The dew heater is held on to the screws with nylon nuts (included).

-The Flip Flat has a 5v motor and is powered by USB.  Make sure you route the dew heater cable in a way that cannot tug or snag as the light panel opens and closes as it can cause the motor to stall.
